As a journalist, I used to aspire/dream of one day having a by-line in Vanity Fair.

This wasn’t a desperate Toby Young-esque dream. But it stirred within  nevertheless; a ‘one-of-these-days’ yearning. Today,  that ‘one day’ became a reality. I doubt Graydon Carter is aware but my ego certainly is. And I guess I’ve got Britney Spears and Princess Diana – and regular contributor and ‘fixer’ Nell Scovell to thank. One more box ticked.
